Volcanoes and Beaches of Costa Rica

Package of 7 nights / 8 days

Includes: all ground transfers, hotels mentioned or similars, breakfasts, three lunches and all taxes.

Day 1
Arrival. Transfer International Airport to Los Volcanes Hotel – 5 min. From the Airport.

Day 2
 7 am – Departure time for the Combo Tour including entrance fee to La Paz Waterfall Gardens with self-guided hike, butterfly farm, orchids gardens and hummingbirds sanctuary, entrance fee to Poás Volcano- one of the biggest craters in Latin America, Doka Coffee Plantation Tour with breakfast included, lunch, round trip transportation, and bilingual guide. Return: 4 pm to Los Volcanes Hotel.

Day 3
 8 am - Transfer Hotel / Arenal. This day you will continue to the low lands of the Northern Side of the country. Stay at Volcano Lodge – Standard Room facing the volcano. During the afternoon, you can visit any of the Hot Springs SPA of the area or take a hike into the Arenal National Park. Check on our one day tours available in the Northern Areas.

Day 4
 7 am – Tour to Caño Negro Wild Refuge. This trip includes round trip transportation, bilingual naturalist guide, entrance fee to the Refuge, boat ride of approx. 2 hours where you will be identifying different species in flora and fauna, typical Costa Rican lunch, regional fruits, bottled drinks, natural juices, bottled water and cookies. Return by 4 pm. Stay at Volcano Lodge – Standard Room.

Day 5
 8 am – Transfer Arenal to Jaco Beach, Central Pacific. Stay at Arenal Pacifico Hotel – Superior beach front rooms. Enjoy the facilities and beautiful long Jaco Beach.

Day 6
7 am – Breakfast included. This day you continue your journey to the Central Pacific Side visiting Carara National Park and the Jungle Crocodile Safari, where you can observe the majestic crocodiles in their own habitats also this area is beautiful for their variety of birds and if you have lucky maybe you can see the Scarlet macaw: 8 hours. Return: 4 pm to at Arenal Pacifico Hotel.

Day 7
 2:30 am – Transfer from your hotel back to Alajuela. You will be dropped off at the Hampton Inn, but the shuttle of Los Volcanes Hotel will pick you up and will take you to their hotel.

Day 8
 – Departure Day. Transfer Hotel / Airport Included.
